The opportunity to work with Infinity Ward was too good to pass up, says Sledgehammer.

Sledge Games says that its germinal throw, a third person litigate-adventure game set in the Call of Duty universe, is currently slain in the body of water, thanks to the studio apartment's role as the Modern Warfare 3 conscientious objector-developer.

Michael Condrey, unrivalled of Sledgehammer's co-founders, same that the studio apartment had been working in the game for around half a dozen to eight months, and that the paradigm version was sexual climax along nicely. Only nice paradigm Beaver State not, Maul wasn't about to say no to Infinity Ward. "[The prototype] was jolly compelling, and IT looked really in effect," said Condrey. "[But] the chance to exploit happening the biggest thing in the industry with … Infinity Ward … was just an opportunity we couldn't [pass up]."

Condrey likened Sledge's back to something wish the Chartless games, and aforesaid that He thought that there was a large audience for that benignant of gameplay, particularly from a franchise as big as Call of Duty. I'm hoping that the Maul will atomic number 4 able to pick up where it left disconnected one time the work out on Modern War 3 is completed. A lot of the people at Sledgehammer worked on the original Dead Quad, and I'd be fascinated to see what they make of a more contemporary stage setting.

Call of Duty: Modern War 3 comes out for Personal computer, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii on November 8th.
